RouteManager

Complete Route Accounting Software for Uniform, Linen & Mat Rental Operators.

RouteManager runs your entire textile rental operation — from contracts and routes to billing, AR, and reporting — on one fully integrated platform built specifically for laundries.

What RouteManager Does

RouteManager is the central operating system for textile rental businesses. Every part of your operation — bill-to and ship-to accounts, contracts, route deliveries, soil entry, settlement, billing, customized statements, and accounts receivable — lives in one place and shares one source of truth.

That matters because textile rental isn't generic distribution. Routes change daily. Contracts have item-level pricing. Soiled inventory needs to be tracked back to the right wearer or stop. Damage and loss happen in the field. Generic ERPs don't model any of that, which is why textile rental operators end up with seven-figure software they have to bend, override, and supplement with spreadsheets.

RouteManager doesn't need to be bent. It was built — from day one in 1993 — to model exactly how a uniform, linen, or mat rental business actually runs.

Built for Textile Rental Operations

RouteManager is purpose-built for:

  • Uniform rental operators — managing wearers, garment assignments, emblem and logo work, replacement charges, and contract pricing across hundreds or thousands of accounts.

  • Commercial linen and flatware rental operators — handling piece-by-piece tracking of sheets, towels, napkins, tablecloths, aprons, and gowns; food-and-beverage and healthcare linen contracts; loss billing; and per-item or per-pound pricing.

  • Floor mat and facility services rental — exchanges, swaps, branded mats, scrape mats, and mat-specific contract management

  • Mixed operations — most of our customers run two or three of the above. RouteManager handles all of it on one platform.

Whether you're running 2 routes or 100, single-plant or multi-plant, RouteManager scales without a re-architecture. The same software that runs a small regional laundry runs operations doing tens of thousands of stops a week.

Key Features

Customized Reporting

Reporting is one of the things that sets RouteManager apart. Need a report broken down by route, by service code, by sales rep, by wearer, by product class, by item, by date range, by customer status — by anything? Our team builds it. Standard reports cover everything from daily settlement to year-over-year revenue trending. When the standard reports don't fit, we customize them to your operation.

Custom Billing & Multiple Price Types

RouteManager's pricing engine supports multiple price types down to the individual item level, so your contracts don't have to fit a generic template:

  • Per-piece, per-pound, per-stop, and flat-rate billing

  • Item-level price overrides for unique customer arrangements

  • Loss & replacement charges automatically calculated

  • Late charges, special charges, and COD rebills

  • Automatic price increases based on contract anniversaries and escalator clauses

  • Custom billing codes for unusual charges

If your sales team can sell it, RouteManager can bill it.

Contracts, Renewals & Multi-Year Price Increase Scheduling

Track every contract from sale through renewal. Built-in renewal tools surface contracts approaching expiration so nothing slips through.

Where RouteManager goes further than most route accounting systems: the multi-tier price increase scheduler. Most platforms give you a single contract escalator. RouteManager lets you schedule up to 10 future price increases per contract reference — each with its own effective date and percentage — directly on the contract record. Build out the full lifecycle of a multi-year contract on day one: month-12, month-24, month-36 increases, each at a different percentage, all baked in.

Billing applies each scheduled increase automatically on the date it's due. No spreadsheets, no reminders to your billing team, no manual review of hundreds of accounts each year.

Item-level controls let you fine-tune the schedule:

  • Prevent-Increase flag — exempt specific charges or items from auto-increases when a customer arrangement requires it.

  • Per-item Price Change Date — stagger an increase against the contract's master schedule.

  • Price Increase Notice Required flag — surface contracts that require customer notification before the increase applies, so your team has time to send the heads-up.

  • Last-Applied tracking — every scheduled increase records when it was applied, giving you a complete audit trail per contract.

Route Settlement & Soil Entry

Drivers settle routes in seconds, not hours. Soil entry runs at the speed of your wash floor. Exceptions, missing pieces, and damage are flagged, tracked, and routed straight into billing — no double entry, no lost tickets.

Pre-Billing, Invoicing & Accounts Receivable

Pre-bill, generate invoices, post payments, and run statements all from inside RouteManager. AR aging, customer credit holds, deposit tracking, and adjustment audits are built in — not bolted on.

User-Friendly Navigation

Built for plant managers and office staff, not IT specialists. Every screen lays out the way the operation actually works. New users are productive in days, not weeks.

Rock-Solid Reliability

Thirty-plus years of intellectual property in production. Used daily by 60+ textile rental operators. RouteManager is the reference standard for stability in this industry.

Built for the Industry, By the Industry

Almost every meaningful feature in RouteManager started as a customer phone call.

A plant manager describes a problem. Our team listens, scopes a solution, and builds it. The next customer with that same problem — and there's always a next customer — gets the benefit of work we've already done.

That's the difference between a generic ERP that "happens to support" textile rental and software built one customer feature at a time, exclusively for this industry, over three decades. We didn't guess what laundries need. We were told.

How RouteManager Integrates

RouteManager is the core of the Textile Technologies suite. Add modules as you need them:

eSendManager — automated invoice and statement email delivery with delivery tracking
MatTracker — floor mat-specific tracking, exchanges, and swap management
WorkOrderManager — stockroom, repairs, replacements, and new garment setups
VehicleManager — fleet maintenance and service scheduling
BulkScanning — high-volume RFID portal and bin scanning

Frequently Asked Questions

How hard is migration from our current system?

Less painful than you'd think. We've converted operations from Alliant Systems, LinenMaster, and Infinite Laundry, as well as homegrown systems built on DOS, Access, Excel, or custom databases. A standard data conversion — accounts, contracts, items, open AR, history — typically completes in 30 to 120 days from kickoff to go-live, depending on data complexity and the number of integration points. Our team handles the technical migration; your team handles operational sign-off.

What does software licensing and support cost?

RouteManager pricing is tailored to your operation — number of routes, modules selected, and any add-ons (RFID, hardware integrations, etc.). We don't publish list prices because every textile rental business is different. Contact us for a quote built around your actual scope, and we'll walk you through licensing, support, and any add-ons in plain English.

Does RouteManager support ACH and credit card payments?

Yes. RouteManager and WebManager support both ACH and credit card processing, including secure card storage and customer-portal online payment. Statements, invoices, and online payments reconcile automatically into RouteManager AR.

Does it integrate with other RFID systems?

Yes. RouteManager and InventoryManager integrate directly with Positek, DataMars, Jensen, and other major RFID hardware platforms — supporting handheld readers, portal and tunnel readers, and transponder programming out of the box. If you're already running RFID in your plant, your existing hardware carries forward — no rip-and-replace required.

What kind of support do you offer?

This is the part our customers are most vocal about: our support is second to none. Real humans, fast response times, and deep working knowledge of your business. We train new users hands-on, brainstorm with owners on operational problems, build custom reports on request, and troubleshoot at the operator level — not from a script.

How long has Textile Technologies been around?

Founded in 1993, independently owned, and exclusively focused on textile rental software for 30+ years. Same mission, same founding values, same customer-first ethos. Read our [About page] for the full story.

Can RouteManager handle a multi-plant operation?

Yes. RouteManager scales from single-plant operations to multi-plant, multi-state textile rental businesses. Plant-level reporting, route consolidation, and corporate roll-ups are all built in.

How fast can we go live?

Most new RouteManager implementations go live in 30 to 120 days. The variable is usually your own readiness — data quality, account mappings, and stakeholder availability — not the software.
